What to Do If You Are Arrested in Texas

Being arrested can be a frightening and confusing experience. It is crucial to know your rights and take immediate steps to protect them.

If you are arrested or charged with a crime in Texas, you should:

  • Remain Silent: Exercise your right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court, so it's essential to refrain from discussing your case with law enforcement or anyone else until you have spoken with an attorney.
  • Not Consent to Searches: You have the right to refuse consent to searches of your person, vehicle, or home without a warrant. Asserting this right can prevent law enforcement from obtaining evidence that could be used against you.
  • Contact an Attorney: It is in your best interest to contact a lawyer as soon as possible after your arrest. Our attorneys are available 24/7 to provide immediate legal guidance and support. We work to protect your rights from the moment you reach out to us.

Navigating the criminal justice system can be daunting, but you don't have to face it alone. Our experienced team is ready to stand by your side, advocating fiercely for your rights and working tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome for your case.
