Amanda Smith
Bio
Amanda Smith is an experienced trial lawyer who fights hard for her clients. She has handled thousands of criminal cases.
Amanda went to Baylor University where she received her bachelor's degree in Political Science. She then attended Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas. During her time at Baylor Law School, she competed on the mock trial team and interned with the Coryell County District Attorney’s Office.
After graduating from law school in 2013, Amanda began her career as an Assistant District Attorney for the Coryell County District Attorney’s Office where she handled felony offenses. In 2016, Amanda moved to the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office in Waco to prosecute felony offenses. She was at the McLennan County D.A.’s Office until joining the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office in 2021.
Amanda is excited to put her experience and skills to work for clients who come to Smith and Vinson Law Firm for representation. Originally, Amanda is from Pflugerville but currently resides in Gatesville, Texas with her husband and children.
